ALESSANDRO BORTOLIN DOCG Prosecco Extra Dry 0.75 l

Alessandro Bortolin calls this the sparkling wine of summer: easygoing, undemanding and welcome at an aperitif at any hour. The grapes grow on the calcareous clay of the Striset vineyard in Santo Stefano and are picked by hand from late September into October.

Straw yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is lively and sweet, with green apple, citrus and wild flowers; the palate is well structured and lingering. 13 g/l residual sugar. Serve at 6–8 °C with tempura vegetables, fried bites and pasta salads – or oysters, prawns and good company.
