BORTOLIN ANGELO Prosecco DOCG Tranquillo "Brach" 0,75 l
Brach (from the local dialect for "grapevine shoot") was born from an irresistible desire to show what the Guia vineyards taste like without bubbles — because in Valdobbiadene's oldest tradition, still wine was just as present as the sparkling kind.
This wine is made exclusively from grapes grown in the village of Guia — the same carefully selected vineyard plots used as the base for the Extra Brut Angelin Beo and the Dry Desiderio. The wine may have a very light, almost imperceptible natural effervescence (it can be described as "pétillant"), but is fundamentally a still wine. With around 3 g/l residual sugar and a slightly lower alcohol content than the sparkling siblings, Brach is fresh, balanced, and focused on pure varietal expression. Clean and fine on the nose, mineral and direct on the palate — an excellent food wine throughout the meal, particularly with fish dishes.
