BORTOLIN ANGELO Prosecco DOCG Extra Dry 3 l Jeroboam
The Extra Dry is Bortolin Angelo's greatest success: it earned the winery the Grand Gold Medal at Vinitaly 2011 in the Charmat-method sparkling wine category, and has remained the estate's international flagship ever since. The recipe is simple and uncompromising: exclusively hand-harvested Valdobbiadene Glera, autoclave fermentation, 30–40 days on the lees.
At 15 g/l residual sugar, the wine gains a pleasant roundness and softness while staying lively and fresh thanks to balanced acidity. Aromatically clean and direct — apple, pear, and peach in their purest form; on the palate it is round, fruity, and genuinely versatile. A "multitasking" wine from aperitivo to dessert, with a particular affinity for fish and shellfish.
The 3-litre Jeroboam delivers all of this in double measure — with slower development, finer bubbles, and the kind of presence only a large-format bottle carries. For a celebratory dinner, a toast, or as a gift: the Vinitaly Grand Gold winner in Magnum is exactly as much as a special evening deserves.
