"Spago" refers to one of Valdobbiadene's oldest sparkling wine traditions: farmers once tied a string ("spago") around the cork of a re-fermenting bottle to prevent it from shooting out under the pressure of secondary fermentation. Today the name lives on as a reference to the "frizzante" — lightly sparkling — style, where autoclave pressure is lower (max. 2.5 bar) than in a classic spumante.

Terra di Guia Frizzante Spago is made from hand-harvested Guia Glera using a lighter, fresher variant of the Charmat/Martinotti method. The wine has a gentle effervescence, apple and fresh fruit aromas, and bright, lively acidity. A more relaxed and casual style — excellent as an aperitif, with light summer dishes, and ideal for terrace evenings.
